PANTOMINES 1988 - 2008

  Bringing SFX to the Theatre

Over the last 20 years we have supplied laser effects and laser animations to many pantomime productions. Laser light has vibrant colours and the effect it produces can not be replicated by any other light source. The laser adds real magic to the show.

Skull Compare

Many productions have a vocal introduction only. Using the pantomime front gauze art work and bringing it alive we created the skull compare who started the show.

This was custom made on site with a famous cast member doing the voice over. Can you guess who it is?

This is one example of how we can bring something to life that would normally be just a static visual.

Peter Pan opening sequence

This sequence was the opening of the show.

The animation was projected onto the front gauze covering the entire surface area. That's nearly as big as an Imax screen.

The story unfolds from Neverland to London where Laser Tinkerbell exits on stage right and the real Tinkerbell enters.

This type of show opener adds a massive wow factor that's always gets a fantastic crowd response.

Peter Pan highlights

Where ever magic is needed the laser excels in producing a visually spellbinding effect. Its luminescent glow gives it that magical look and with our animation skills we can truly bring to life both characters and set.

In Peter Pan anything magical is projected by the laser from the front circle. Tinker bell has beautiful fairy dust trailing her and fairy dust animations are used extensively through the show. Effects for entry's and song finales with beam chases all around the venue.

Aladdin highlights

With the cast flying on a magic carpet we created a animated backdrop that travels over an arabian city to the desert hide out.

Frank Bruno battled green aliens live on stage and we even managed to squeeze him into a magic lantern.

Laser graphics were created for the battle scenes where many ended with stars twirling their heads. True slapstick cartoon comedy.

Cinderella highlights

The transformation scene was our project. Using the aspect of magic we lift the story in to another world where anything is possible.

Mice design and make the dress. Then they burst out of the pumpkin to become the horses. Pangolins eat some magic dust and become the guards and finally the pumpkin transforms into the golden carriage.

The final frame then fades as we arrive on stage at the ball.
